Trekking from Kalaw to Aung Ban

Day(1) [23km]

After your breakfast 8:00 am departure from your hotel by Car to MyinKa monastery. Drive about 15 minutes (5km). Then, leave from car and walk through the village and field. Some of the field are growing the seasonal plants (or) vegetables. In habitants are from Danu tribe. About 1 hour and 30 minutes, you will see the whole village from the hill. It’s called “Pain ne Bin” village (Palaung tribe village). The village elevation is around 1332 meter above sea level. But there is not old style houses. All are modernized. And we continue our trip by going up and down. One the way to ‘Taung Ni’ village, you will see the orange plantations, tea plantation and local people. In winter season, they were busy by loading and unloading their firm products. Such as oranges, tea leaf, cheroot leaf and so on. Round about 1 hour you will stop lunch at Monaster. You may take a rest for a moment. At 2:00 pm we start the trip by going down the hills. On the way to ‘Na War Taung’ you will across the pine tree groups. About 3 km you will reach the ‘Na War Taung’ monastery. If you get the chance, you will enjoy the sunset from the hill. According to the weather favour, you will enjoy the sunset. We stop for dinner at Monastery with candle light.
